Ed Gleason’s practice emphasizes civil litigation and arbitration. His experience includes more than fifty trials as lead counsel in state and federal courts throughout Colorado. Ed is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Ed Gleason’s practice emphasizes civil litigation and arbitration. His experience includes more than fifty trials as lead counsel in state and federal courts throughout Colorado. Ed is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only organization of trial lawyers that is the most selective in North America. He also is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. For several years, Ed has been continuously listed in Best Lawyers in America (commercial litigation) and he has been listed in Colorado Super Lawyers (business litigation) every year since its inception in 2006.
Ed is a graduate of Stanford Law School. Prior to law school, he was a certified public accountant and worked for a Big Eight accounting firm. Ed has long been active in professional and nonprofit organizations in Colorado Springs. He is a past President of the El Paso County Bar Association and has chaired the boards of Pikes Peak United Way, YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, Catholic Charities of Central Colorado, Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado, the El Paso County Bar Foundation, and the Penrose-St. Francis Health Foundation. An avid runner, he annually competes in the Pikes Peak Ascent, which he has finished twenty times, most recently in 2021.
