The newest addition to the Nussbaum Gleason team, Alec’s work concentrates on support of religious organizations, corporate governance, early-stage businesses, and litigation defense.
Alec is the newest addition to the Nussbaum Gleason team. He helps businesses, non-profits, and religious institutions with corporate governance, early-stage-business funding and structure, and First Amendment protections.
Alec is a recent dual-degree graduate of the University of Notre Dame’s Law School and Graduate School. While at Notre Dame, Alec earned awards in oral advocacy and technology law, contributed to the transactional advising of religious nonprofit organizations through the Religious Liberty Initiative, and defended a thesis concerning a multi-million-dollar intercontinental manufacturing project. Through internships, he also contributed to research for non-profit tax compliance, federal questions such as the scope of Presidential powers, and assorted First Amendment claims. Prior to attending Notre Dame, Alec worked in education and behavioral therapy.
A former elite athlete, Alec played soccer in college, in the Olympic Development Program, and overseas in Northern Ireland and Hamburg, Germany. This competitive background cultivated his diligent work ethic and competitive spirit. When he is not playing soccer, Alec can be found with his wife either at church or in the mountains.
