Commercial Litigation / Arbitration

Commercial Litigation / Arbitration

Nussbaum Gleason represents businesses, religious institutions, and others in complex litigation in state and federal courts across the country. We handle litigation in many substantive areas, from complex real-estate issues to healthcare, employment, insurance, and public-law disputes. Some of our attorneys started their careers as law clerks to judges at the federal trial and appellate levels. We strive to understand how judges think about cases so we can efficiently resolve our clients’ toughest disputes.

Most commercial contracts, real estate deals, and business transactions are without controversy. But when disputes arise, we help clients understand their legal rights and responsibilities, and we protect and defend their rights through litigation and arbitration. Our attorneys have represented clients in scores of jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings in Colorado and elsewhere.

Organizations must protect their intellectual property, avoid infringement issues and defend against claims that would stifle competition and creativity. We litigate disputes involving trademarks and branding, copyrights and licensing, and trade secrets to protect our clients’ businesses and intellectual property.

Having arbitrated dozens of commercial disputes ourselves, we are familiar with the processes and rules that govern arbitration. Our attorneys can serve as third-party neutrals to oversee discovery, rule on motions, and conduct arbitration proceedings so parties can resolve commercial disputes efficiently and in confidence.
